We are SKIES, an Alliance guild from DARKSPEAR.
Skies is a casual-hardcore guild focused primarily on PvE. We are composed of mostly Filipinos but our membership is not limited by this. We have players from all over and if you're raiding schedule matches ours, then please come and join us kick some boss ass!

Hello again Skies!
Things are afoot in our little guild, lots of changes have happend. First off, 25 man raids have been discontinued due to lack of raiders, this means that everybody should be focusing on doing 10 man content.
To facilitate better grouping and 10 man raiding I highly encourage all interested raiders to register here and POST in the proper forum thread to volunteer yourself for 10 man raids.
The post is entitled RAIDING POOL and can be found under the PvE section of the forums.
I ask for your patience, lot's of work needs to be done. Everyone will hopefully be assigned a raid group so that everyone can get geared ASAP. :)
RECRUITMENT: If any of your friends are interested in playing WoW or if you know anyone in the realm who would like to raid at Ph time/Oceanic time (GMT +8) please tell them to visit our site and post so that we can discuss their application to the guild. :)

FINALLY, we have vent!
Some rules to remember:
1. When speaking in vent, always speak in the 3rd person. Say "Heal Ornussa." instead of "Heal me!". Nobody knows who "me" is, use your character name and not your real name.
2. Keep quiet when the Raid Leader is speaking. Listen to what he/she is saying. Vent is here to aid in communicating so that we can learn fights faster, adjust quicker. It'll be useless if you don't listen/pay attention to the Raid Leader.
3. Please adjust your mic and your mic settings, it's really annoying and painful when mics don't work. This pisses people off a lot, so here's a good idea: BEFORE THE RAID/ARENA/BG find an empty vent channel, ask a friend to join you there, and test your mic!
4. Try not to get too excited in Vent. Yes, the fights in WoW can get pretty intense which makes people panic when pressing their transmit button resulting in messages that are cut either at the beginning or the end. Make sure you press your transmit (xmit) button and then speak, let go of the xmit button when you've said your complete message only.

3.1 just came out yesterday, now ULDUAR is upon us! Please read and watch the guides I posted in the forums, they're really helpful. Hopefully if all the raiders read up on the fights, we can down bosses quicker and get loot faster!

Congrats to Skies for downing Sartharion 2D last week! Hopefully more of our raiders show up during our raids so we can finally get the coveted Sarth 3D down! ^_^
Just a reminder:
Skies' raid is every FRIDAY and SATURDAY, usually 3am Server Time/6pm Philippine Time (GMT +8)
Don't rely on the Guild Message of the Day (GMOTD) so much, since the officers don't regularly announce raid scheds as it is assumed that we raiders already know! Oh and if you think there's no raid, THERE IS A RAID! So get online!!!
In other news, I'm still working on getting that vent for the guild, I postponed doing anything for a few months since I was pretty busy with school and other real life work, with summer approaching (April 1 for me!) I will definitely be focusing on getting that vent server for the guild!
